Bree has had her fair share of difficulties. The loss of her parents, a not-so-recent divorce, and the disruption of her life caused by a stalker now who’s serving jail time. When the determined criminal finishes his sentence, Bree is sent into hiding. And while she’s doing all she can to steer clear of this frightening piece of her past, an old acquaintance enters the scene, determined to be part of her future.

Bree is a divorced mother of two. Her stalker is going to be released from prison soon so her brother, Braden, sends her away until they can figure out if her stalker is still obsessed with her. He hires Greyson, an old family friend who is in the protection business, to guard her. Greyson had a thing for her when they were younger but Bree wouldn't give him the time of day so he's hoping to make a better impression the second time around.

I can't imagine how terrifying it would feel to be stalked by someone and felt Bree's anxiety at the beginning as she left town. She had to leave her children behind with her ex-husband and his new wife and daughter. They were on good terms so she was fine with that but it was still difficult. Greyson was having some family issues of his own so it was a good break for him to protect her. Things were a little awkward between them at first but they were able to build their relationship as they became more comfortable with each other.

I loved the pacing of this book! The story of Bree's stalker, Carl, came out through bits and pieces. He was pretty creepy and it was easy to see why Braden wanted her protected. I kept hoping she wouldn't have to meet up with him again. Greyson and Bree's romance came naturally and they shared some passionate kisses (all clean). They were great characters who were easy to fall in love with and root for. I would recommend this to anyone that enjoys clean romantic suspense!

I’m a reader of good, clean romance, a lover of family time and Diet Coke, and the ultimate hater of laundry.

I’m not patient enough to enjoy yoga, or tall enough to be great at basketball, but I do love to run – anywhere but on a treadmill. I love the sound of a rainstorm when I have no place to go, the feel of Soft Lips chap Stick on my lips, and the first peek of blue water as we round the mountains toward our favorite getaway in Bear Lake.
