Fat-free cheese is okay--unless you've tasted real cheese. Juliet Easton learns this about love too as she uncovers who truly loves her, and who is using her to get to the secret she knows about the disappearance of her sister's fiance and the pharmaceutical conspiracy he plans to reveal. Can she protect her loved ones' lives and her heart? You'll be hooked from Asiago to Zamorano cheese in this suspenseful and hilarious romantic thriller.
This is one of my favorite genres and I am happy to say that I loved this book! It starts with Juliet and her brother, Everett, in a yoga class. Her thoughts on that had me laughing so I knew this would be a winner for me. She has an interview later that day with her brother's best friend, Owen. She also meets Lila Bradley, the daughter of the owner of the company, who is pampered and possessive of Owen. Eva, Juliet's sister, is involved in some drama. We get her love story with her missing fiance, Will, in bits and pieces.
I loved (most of) the characters in this book! It was nice to see how well Everett, Juliet and Eva got along and supported each other. As they got more involved with the mystery surrounding Will, it wasn't always clear who they could trust. Owen easily fit in with them and was attracted to Juliet, but there was a huge obstacle that needed to be taken care of first.
Once I started reading this, I had a hard time putting it down! It has a good balance of humor, romance and mystery, which kept me entertained from beginning to end. I also loved how the title of the book fit into the story--it was perfect! This is the author's first book and I'm looking forward to reading more from her in the future!
